Aiko’s passion for music started in drumming and percussion, before expanding to a range of other acoustic instruments like piano and guitar. Frequent trips to the studio got her interested in production, and midi-controllers soon turned into synthesizers, drum machines, and analog outboard gear. Her passion now is focused on exploring the fringes of club sounds. It all starts with quality of sound, and Aiko makes that the first priority in her workflow. Recording samples of analog drums, drones, blips, and bleeps in a multitude of keys, chords, notes and configurations, each sample guarantees that the mix sounds proper from the start.
